More than 4000 people in the Tikina Waimaro and Nawaidina have a reason to smile as they now have access to electricity after waiting for years.
This is after Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama commissioned the largest rural Electrification Project at Nabukaluka District School in Naitasiri this morning.
Commodore Bainimarama said the access to electricity will improve the quality of life of the 14 villages and 7 schools.
Commodore Bainimarama said more than a thousand students will benefit through the electrification project in Naitasiri.
The total project cost $1.8 million.
