Police have arrested and charged a 26-year-old electrician of Navua for allegedly defiling a class 8 student.
Navua Police have confirmed that the man has been charged with two counts of defiling the 14-year-old student and has been released on bail.
The alleged incident took place early last month and the matter was reported to police earlier this week by the victim's family.
