An electrical fault has caused water cut in areas from Veisari to Wailoku and areas in Nasinu are expected to experience water disruptions later this evening.
Divisional Water Engineer Central Samuela Tubui confirms that areas in Veisari, Lami, Delainavesi, Warua up to Wailoku are currently without water supply. He said supply in these areas is expected to be restored by tomorrow morning.
Tubui also confirms that there are problems in the Wainibuku reservoir areas in Nasinu, including Cunningham, Kinoya, Caubati, Valelevu, New Town, Tovata, Makoi and surrounding areas will be without water supply later this evening. Water supply in the Nasinu area is expected to be restored by tomorrow morning.
People in these areas are urged to store water.
