Two people are dead after they were electrocuted in two separate incidents.

A 40 year old labourer of Meigunia, Nadi, died last night while he was trying to fix a burst pipe with fellow workers.

It is alleged that one of the employees accidently switched on the main power supply which instantly killed the labourer.

Police are questioning other employees who were with the labourer.

In another incident, a 15 year old boy who was sitting on a truck loaded with cane, died after he accidently touched a broken live wire.

The lorry was passing by an electric post when the incident took place in Labasa.
