Police believe that an electrical fault caused the fire in a truck this morning at Naiborebore in Tailevu.
The truck was laden with gravel when a fire started from the engine around 9am.
The driver of the truck escaped unhurt and was interviewed by police at the scene.
Meanwhile, Chief Fire Officer, Mark Reid said fire authority officials responded to the fire around 10am and are also investigating the incident.
