Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama has revealed he will now get monthly reports from the Electoral Commission on the preparation towards elections as the interim government is still committed to have the general elections next year as earlier announced.

He made these comments while, addressing the 2nd meeting of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji this morning at the Police Academy in Nasova.

Commodore Bainimarama said work on the People's Charter is important as the interim government wants to achieve national agreement, reconciliation and unity before the General election, and also the way forward for Fiji after the election.
