Having a reliable and accurate voter registration still remains a major challenge for the Elections office.
Speaking at a Public Lecture on “One Citizen One Vote General Elections” organised by USP and the Indonesian Embassy last night, Acting Supervisor of elections, Soro Toutou admitted that over the past years they have been unsuccessful in registering all the voters.
He said they are now working to address the issue.
Toutou also highlighted that one person one vote will make their work easier in terms of vote counting.
