The Supervisor of Elections is hoping that the announcement of the 2009 Budget will be favourable to their preparation work for the next elections.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Felicity Heffernan said at the moment they are carrying out institutional strengthening programs within the elections office to ensure they are prepared for whenever the next elections are called.
Heffernan said the Elections Office also has the luxury of being an organization that receives donor.
