Most people in Vanua Levu who have been consulted on the People’s Charter do not care about having or not having elections in the country as previous governments have failed to recognize their needs mostly in the rural areas.
According to the team leader for the National Council for Building a Better Fiji Public Relations Team, Kisoko Cagituivei they have received many oral submissions from villagers while taking people's views on the People's Charter last week.
He said they are also looking forward for the provincial meeting in Naduri next Wednesday.
The NCBBF teams continue consultations on formulating the People’s Charter in the north, west and Lau group this week.
