Elections can be held towards the end of 2009 if the new electoral system is agreed to by all the political parties.
Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry who is currently in Ba consulting with the people on the draft People's Charter stresses that elections are possible if the political forum is held within the next few weeks to decide on the new electoral system.
Meanwhile, the NCBBF team led by Interim Transport Minister, Timoci Natuva will be at the Nausori Parish Hall at 6 o’clock this evening. They will make presentations and the response forms will then be given to people to state whether they support or reject the draft Charter.
