An elderly couple is now without their possessions and a roof over their heads, as their two bedroom corrugated iron house in the Muslim League settlement in Nabua was completed destroyed by a fire half an hour ago.

Our reporter Roneel Lal at the scene, said a lady and a toddler had to flee for their lives from an adjacent house two feet away as the flames became too hot to bear.

The homeowner's son-in-law, Iftikaar Khan said the elderly couple has lost their life's earnings in the blaze.
