Paul Elaisa has been confirmed as our male swimmer to the London Olympics.

FASANOC President, Vidhya Lakhan said that the appeals tribunal has come to a decision that Elaisa will be given the nod to represent the country.

Lakhan added that criticism should not be held against FASNOC as their Appeals Tribunal is chaired by a person with legal qualification.

Elaisa will join Matelita Buadromo as they will represent Fiji in swimming in the Olympic Games.

Both are wild card entries.

Meanwhile, in a statement by Fiji Swimming Association member, Dennis Miller said that Douglas Miller should be given the nod as he has the higher ranking points than Paul Elaisa under the International Swimming Federation.
