The eighth suspect involved in the alleged rape of a 12yr old student was arrested by Labasa Police this morning.
Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri confirms that the man was arrested from his village this morning and is currently being questioned by Labasa Police.
He is expected to be charged soon.
It is alleged that the eighth suspect and seven others who have been remanded in custody, were drunk when they raped the 12yr old student while she was spending Christmas with her relatives in Bua.
