Mariners and people living in coastal areas are asked to keep a look out for a boat with 8 people on board which is believed to be drifting in open waters.
The Police Search and Rescue team are still searching for the eight people who went missing at sea on Saturday.
Police Spokesperson, Atuniasa Sokomuri comfirms, Nausori Police received a call from a crew member of the Outboard Board Engine on Saturday afternoon that their boat had generated a mechanical problem.
According to Sokomuri the eight people are believed to be drifting in Vatu-ira waters but the Police boats are also searching for them in Bligh Waters.
Police say they searched for the eight people whole of yesterday but could not spot any boat drifting.
