The NRL today confirmed that the Parramatta Eels will be stripped 12 competition points and fined 1 million Australia dollars for breaches of the salary cap dating back to 2013.
In addition, the NRL has cancelled the registration of five officials at the club.
The Parramatta Eels have announced will challenge the NRL's ruling on salary cap breaches.
On Friday, the Eels defeated the Roosters 22-18.
Tonight, the Panthers meet the Sharks at 6pm and the Raiders clash with the Cowboys at 9pm.
