The Parramatta Eels are at the centre of allegations that senior management signed off on deals that rewarded third‑party sponsors with game‑day hospitality, contravening NRL rules.
The Eels will also face questions about an alleged $39,000 payment to former star and now NFL player Jarryd Hayne after he left the club, according to News Corp reports.
Fairfax revealed in February that a $75,000 third party deal between Hayne and the Eels was also part of the ongoing salary cap investigation by the NRL.
Fairfax had also previously reported a third party deal involving star signing Anthony Watmough was also under investigation.
The Eels will play the Cowboys at 9.30pm this Saturday in the NRL.
