The Education Ministry has contracted Friendly Building Construction Limited in Labasa to carry out rehabilitation for Gau Secondary School.
Minister Filipe Bole who visited the school earlier this month said the school was pretty run down and the buildings were on the verge of collapsing.
The Education Ministry and Friendly Building Construction signed an official contract last Friday and the contractors left for Gau on Tuesday morning with additional materials for the overall facelift of the school.
