The Education Ministry is tightlipped on the future of two school teachers in Labasa, who appeared before the Public Service Commission Disciplinary Committee on allegations of sexual misconduct.

PSC Chairman Rishi Ram confirmed to Fijivillage this morning that the disciplinary team had been in the North yesterday and the two teachers appeared before them.

The two are alleged to have sexually assaulted some school students. Ram said a decision will be made soon in relations to the teachers.

Meanwhile, Interim Education Minister, Filipe Bole when contacted this morning confirmed that he is aware of the cases and said the final decision lay with Commission.

And added that as far as he knows, the two are still teaching.
