The Education Minister on his recent tour of schools in Kadavu said he was happy with the academic performance of the three secondary schools.
Filipe Bole said he visited Vunisea Secondary School, Richmond Methodist High School and Kadavu Provincial High School taking time out to see the school facilities and also meeting with parents to discuss issues which were of concern to them.
Bole said one of the schools has for the last three years done well in external exams and has been given the approval to start Form 7 next year.
Bole also spoke to parents about the various programs such as the Bus Fare Transport Assistance Scheme, and the Free Text Book Program which the government has running aimed at helping bring down the cost of education.
