A day after having a comment at rugby league, England coach Eddie Jones has questioned Jarryd Hayne’s inclusion in the Fijian Olympic Sevens squad.

Jones courted controversy by saying league “is not a skillful game” and followed it up by saying there’s something fishy going on in Hayne’s selection.

Former Eel and 49er Jarryd Hayne was named in the Vodafone Fiji 7s extended 23-man Olympic squad despite only playing in one World Sevens Series tournament in London last month.

Hayne had a mixed bag in his first Sevens experience, getting game time off the bench as Fiji finished fourth in London.

The comments come just months after the former Wallabies coach said he would sing the English national anthem, but not the Australian one during the three Test series starting in Brisbane this weekend.

Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s players will start their camp next Monday at the Uprising Beach Resort to prepare for the Rio Olympics.
