The West rugby side will not be relying on their achievements this year ahead of the revived AON East versus West series which starts this weekend.
West Manager Tiko Matawalu said the major sporting titles might be in the West but that does not mean the series is guaranteed.
Matawalu added that this is a step above the provincial level.
The first AON East versus West clash will be played at the ANZ Stadium this Saturday at 4pm, the second match will be played at Lawaqa Park next Saturday before the final game will be held again at the ANZ Stadium on the 14th of next month.
