Boxer Abhay Chand has been released early in support of the Yellow Ribbon Initiative to meet up with Joe Naleca for the middleweight title fight next month.

Nadi Bula Festival Association President Titilia Vuataki said they are proud to support such a worthy cause which improves the lives and living standards of inmates.

Wild West Boxing Promotion leader Abdul Khan said they are giving Abhay Chand a chance to fulfill his dream for his career and family.

Other fights that are scheduled will see Joy Ali and Yao Yi Ma and for the heavyweight title will see Petero Qica Junior and Mosese Kavika.

The Wild West Boxing events will be held on July 16th to coincide with the Bula Festival.
