A mission from the European Commission is expected in the country soon to hold talks with the Interim Government on its commitments given to the EU to hold elections.
Speaking to FijiVillage Charge D'Affairs for the European Commission Robert De Reeve said over 90 million euros or over FJD$207m in funds intended for Fiji, remains on hold.
De Reeve said the European Council would need to look at the progress made by the Interim Government on its commitments before any further decisions are made.
