After successfully assisting the Solomon settlement in Wailoku in building a road so that they can access basic amenities, ECREA is now focusing on helping other small settlements.
Director for ECREA's Economic Injustice Program Semiti Qalowasa said that they will now assist those communities that badly need help.
Qalowasa said that the people in the settlement were facing real difficulty in accessing basic amenities after the road was destroyed and had not been repaired for the past six years.
A total of $ 40,000 was raised by the members of the settlement along with former Fiji Citizens in Australia, ECREA and the government.
