The Ecumenical Centre for Research Education and Advocacy is hoping that the 2010 National Budget, to be announced next Friday, will be people centered.
Director Chantelle Khan said they hope that the Budget will think of the low income earners and their needs, especially with regards to the rising food prices.
Khan added they want to see a budget that does promote economic growth but not at the expense of the people.
The 2010 National Budget will be announced by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama next Friday.
