The Ecumenical Centre for Research Education and Advocacy says they are happy with the decision by government.
Executive Director Chantelle Khan said ECREA is grateful to a number of people for helping out with the survey, without whose opinions the survey and this historic decision would not have been possible.
Khan said they also had presented a number of submissions to the government which they hope will be considered.
