Police have confirmed that the box of dynamite which was confiscated from the Suva Wharf was addressed to a company in Fiji.
Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said they are now trying to trace the company down.
There were a total of 52 sticks of dynamite and the discovery was made by Customs officers checking items in a container.
It is believed that 20 dynamite sticks are missing and police are appealing for information.

Police are investigating the discovery of a box of dynamite from the Suva Wharf yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri had confirmed that Customs Officers informed police who then confiscated the carton yesterday afternoon.
Sokomuri said about 12 sticks are missing from the carton.
Police are trying to establish who sent the box and who was suppose to receive the box of dynamite from the wharf.
