Police confirmed the General Secretary of the Nationalist Vanua Tako Lavo Party Iliesa Duvuloco and five others are still in police custody since yesterday for allegedly distributing pamphlets that breached the Public Emergency Regulation (PER).

Police Director Operations, Waisea Tabakau earlier said anyone plotting against the government and planning to cause instability will be taken to task and they will decide soon on whether charges should be laid against the six men.

Tabakau confirmed that the pamphlets to allegedly cause instability were mainly distributed in the rural areas.
