The France rugby side will start their three-test series against Australia without captain Thierry Dusautoir.

Coach Philippe Saint-Andre has decided to rest him after he was involved in the French Top 14 final at the weekend.

Bernard Le Roux will replace Dusautoir while veteran first-five Frederic Michalak will start despite flying into Brisbane on Tuesday.

France will play Australia at 10pm Saturday.
