Fijian born Andrew Durutalo has been named in the USA 12 member team for the Gold Coast 7s next month.
The former Suva Grammar School student was one of the familiar faces being retained by coach Mike Friday.
Durutalo featured strongly for USA last season and has been named alongside experience players like Nic Edwards, Carlin Isles, Zack Test and Danny Barrett.
Coach Mike Friday said they know that it will be tough this year and their aim is to claim a spot for the Rio Olympic Games.
The Eagles are drawn into Pool D with Argentina, Canada, and England and they will take on Canada in their first pool match next Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team is in Pool C of the Gold Coast 7s tournament with Australia, Scotland and Portugal.
Fiji will take on Scotland in their first pool match at 2.02pm next Saturday.
