Rewa soccer team duo Marika Rodu and Posiano Kalisito will miss the crucial National soccer league encounter against Labasa this Sunday after they have been handed with a one match suspension.

The two senior players were given the marching orders in the match against the Under 20 on Sunday.

Rodu was cited for serious foul play while Kalisito was booked for repeated offence.

Rewa lost the match 1-0.

Meanwhile, Tavua team goal keeper, Josaia Ratu's fate will be decided by the Fiji Football Board Control after he was shown a red card for violent conduct and using abusive language in the match against Lautoka.

Fiji FA League Board Secretary, Janinend Sukhu said Ratu is charged with serious offence and he could face a long term suspension.

Looking at the National soccer league fixtures for this weekend at 7pm this Friday, Lautoka takes on Labasa at Churchill Park.

Suva plays Nadi at 7pm on Saturday at the TFL National Stadium.

Three games will be played on Sunday.

At 1.30pm, Rewa takes on Labasa at Ratu Cakobau Park and you can catch the live commentary of this match on our sister station radio Sargam.

In the other matches also on Sunday at 3pm Navua plays Tavua at the TFL National Stadium.

At Churchill park, Lautoka takes on bottom placed Nasinu also at 3pm.
