This is the second year running that Dudley High School will be giving incentives to their athletes that win medals at the Coca Cola Games that kicks off next Friday.

Dudley High School Principal, Netani Cavu clarifies that this incentive is donated by the Parents Teachers and Friends Association, and their main aim is to keep their athletes at the school.

Cavu added that in the past years their top athletes have moved on to schools like Marist Brothers High School and Suva Grammar, and the PTFA came up with the idea to pay tuition fees for medal winners, to keep them in Dudley.

The incentive given by the Dudley PTFA includes free tuition for the whole year for Gold medal winners, silver medal winners get free tuition for Term 1 and Term 2, and bronze medal winners get free tuition in term 3.

Dudley High School were overall winners in the boys division at the Suva Zone 1 meet defeating former champions Nasinu Secondary, and they will be sending a total of 22 athletes, 17 boys and 5 girls.

The 2010 Coca Cola Games kicks off next Friday at the TFL stadium.
