The Water Authority of Fiji has spoken about the cause of intermittent water supply being experienced in parts of the Central Division.
Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said the dry weather is causing the low levels at the water sources which in turn makes it difficult to pump water to areas.
He said there are water trucks doing the rounds to areas in the Central Division like Delainavesi and Lami.
Nagalu added water tanks have been put in Delainavesi at Kaunitoni Road, Naicobocobo Road, Baka Drive, Bula Road, Rogovoka Road and Pal Crescent in Lami Village to help with the water cuts.
Nagalu said they are currently looking into supply at Lomolomo, Lautoka and in Solove, Labasa.
