While the current dry spell is taking its toll on people in the rural areas, it may just be a blessing in disguise for the tourism industry which is thriving in the hot and humid conditions experienced along the tourism belt.
Fiji Hotel Operators Association President Dixon Seeto said the dry weather conditions has allowed more planned outdoor activities for visitors to our shores.
Seeto said the on the ground situation in the tourism industry looks very positive and they are on target as far as visitor arrival figures are concerned.
