The dry spell mainly in the Western Division is expected to continue for the next few weeks.

Director Nadi Weather Office Alipate Waqaicelua said water sources have dried up in some areas of the Western Division.

However, there is some good news.

Waqaicelua said from next month into the cyclone season, rainfall is expected to pick up as more afternoon showers are expected.

Meanwhile, Water Authority of Fiji Manager Corporate Affairs Michelle Tevita-Singh has called on people to use water wisely as water levels at the reservoirs have also dropped.
