Three men charged with drunk and driving have been disqualified from driving for six months.
A 20 year old Mechanic Roneel Prasad of Burebasaga Rewa, 41 year old Pradip Chand of Waila Nausori and 30 year old Isimeli Mataisiga of Sawakasa Village Tailevu appeared in Nausori Magistrate Court yesterday.
The 3 were arrested in Nausori on Thursday and spent the night in Police Custody.
They pleaded guilty to the charges.
Mataisiga and Chand were fined $500 while Prasad was told to pay a fine of $600.
Meanwhile, Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said those people who are be arrested for drunk and driving will appear in court on the next available court date and will remain in custody until then.
