The Police Drugs Unit has intensified their operation in trying to apprehend all those behind the cultivation and sale of marijuana.
Officer-In-Charge Drugs ASP Sakeo Ganivatu confirmed they are not only running their operation in Viti Levu but are also concentrating on the outer islands now.
Police arrested a man in Navosa on Wednesday who was on his way to sell dry leaves believed to marijuana.
The dried leaves are worth more than $1000.
Meanwhile, a 42 year old man from remains in police custody after he was caught with $2000 worth of dried leaves believed to be marijuana at the Suva wharf on Wednesday.
