At a press conference this morning, police have confirmed that investigations into the cocaine case are still ongoing.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Prem Adip Singh has confirmed that the two nationals are in police custody and that an interpreter has been acquired to help with the case.
Police Commissioner Esala Teleni had earlier told Village News that police are now liaising with all border control agencies to identify why the drugs were not detected.
Teleni said he had directed that immediate action be taken to rectify the problem.
The woman, who is believed to have arrived in the country on Tuesday, was arrested after a raid at a Nadi hotel while police also arrested a Columbian national, for other alleged criminal activities.
