Police have discovered that drug dealers in Viti Levu are using other means of transport to ship marijuana to other parts of the country like Vanua Levu and the outer islands.
Police spokesman Atunaisa Sokomuri said police are currently investigating that some courier companies have allegedly been used to transported marijuana without the company's knowlegde.
Sokomuri said the raid in Davuilevu and Newtown yesterday proved that drug dealers continue to try and outsmart police.
More than $150,000 of worth of marijuana ready to be taken to Labasa this week was intercepted by police yesterday in a house in Davuilevu and the house owner is currently being interrogated by police at Nakasi police post and will be charged once anlaysis reports are received from Koronivia research station.
