Nadi soccer stricker Samuela Drudru scored in the injury time in the match against Suva at the ANZ Stadium as both teams drew one-all in the pool match of the Courts IDC.

Suva led 1-0 throughout the match after Napolioni Qasevakatini scored for the hosts against his former team.

Pool one is wide open as Nadi, Suva and Labasa all have chances of qualifying for the semifinals.

Suva has four points and  a win or a draw against Tailevu Naitasiri will book the Capital City side a semifinal spot.

Nadi also has four points and a draw against Labasa will also book a spot for the Jetsetters in the semifinal.

Labasa has three points and the Babasiga Lions need a must win to qualify for the semifinals.

It will be a D-day for the teams in Pool two as any team can qualify for the semifinals with Lautoka leading with 4 points, Nadroga and Rewa tied with 3 points with the Stallions having a better goal average and Ba placed in the bottom of the pool with one point.

The Lautoka side will face-off against Nadroga as Lautoka will only need a draw to qualify.

A win for Nadroga against Lautoka will book the Stallions a semifinal spot.

Ba and Rewa face a do or die situation as both teams are in a must win situation.

The Delta Tigers have a better chance as they are ahead in points compared to Ba while the Men in Black  will need to beat Rewa and hope that the results of Lautoka and Nadroga match goes in its favour.

Lautoka soccer team proved too strong for the Rewa side when they thumped them 4-1 in the second round of the pool matches.

Veteran Peni Finau scored the first two goals in the first half for the Blues.

After the match Finau told Fijivillage that he dedicates his goals to his one-year-old daughter.

Rewa’s Savenaca Nakalevu pulled one back minutes before the end of the first half to make it 2-1.

The Lambert Sarju coached side came back strongly in the second half and scored two goals through Rusiate Matarerega and Arvindra Naidu.

In the earlier matches Nadroga upset Ba 1-0 with a Krishneel Dutt goal and Labasa beat newcomers Tailevu Naitasiri 2-1.

In tomorrow’s matches, Nadroga will face Lautoka at 1pm, Suva will play Tailevu Naitasiri at 3pm, Ba and Rewa will clash at 5pm and Labasa will face Nadi at 7pm.
