As the Lautoka Blues side gets ready to face off with Hekari United this afternoon, there is word that the five senior players that were dropped from the squad are in talks to change clubs.
Lautoka Soccer president, Shalen Prasad said that they have just received confirmation that the five player - Valerio Nawatu, Jone Vono Junior, Marika Madigi, Samuela Kautoga and Ilaitia Tuilau are planning a move without Lautoka's knowledge.
He adds that these players have left the team down and will have to face a disciplinary committee.
Prasad adds that these players and the districts interested in them will definitely have to fork out more money for their release.
Meanwhile, Lautoka has been dealt a severe blow with injuries to four key players namely Solomon Islander Judd Molea, Nigerian Issa Sanni and the local duo of Alvindra Naidu, and Samuela Drudru.
The four were injured during a training session Thursday afternoon and the coaching panel is expected to make changes to their starting lineup today.
