While the country celebrates Ratu Sukuna Day tomorrow and people are getting into the long weekend spirit, the Police Director Traffic has urged members of the public, especially the drivers to take precaution on the roads.
SSP Mahesh Mishra said innocent lives are lost due to the carelessness of the drivers who are speeding and not adhering to the laws.
He adds they will be working closely with the Land Transport Authority to track down traffic offenders.
Meanwhile, the road death toll this year currently stands at 17 compared to 22 for the same period last year.
