The driver of the bus that plunged down the side of a hill claiming two lives has been taken into custody.
Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra confirmed to Fijivillage that the 42 year old driver surrended at the Valelevu Police Station this morning.
A three year old and a 38 year old man died at the scene after the bus that was travelling from Nadi to Suva veered off the road and went down a slope near Navutu Bridge between Sigatoka and Nadi yesterday.
42 passengers were taken to Nadi hospital for injuries while two people are still admitted at Lautoka hospital.
