Police are questioning a 23-year-old driver in relation to an accident involving an 11-year-old student of St Thomas Aquinas Primary school in Veisari.
Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed the incident occurred around 5pm yesterday afternoon at Fenton Street.
The 11-year-old has been admitted at hospital and police are waiting for his recovery before taking his statement.
