A 30 year man is dead after the ten wheeler truck he was driving tumbled in Seaqaqa this morning.

Police say it is believed that the driver lost control of the ten wheeler truck at a junction causing the truck to tumble.

The driver died instantly.

Meanwhile, a woman in her early 20's is dead after the vehicle she was travelling in veered off the road and tumbled in Savusavu yesterday.

Police confirm the deceased was travelling towards Labasa in a van when the driver lost control at a bend causing the vehicle to veer off the road before it tumbled.

It is believed that the girl was sitting in the tray of the van.

The driver is in police custody and charges are expected to be laid against him.

This is the third road death this year.
