A 28 year old man died instantly after the vehicle he was driving collided head-on with a taxi at Wailoaloa, Nadi last night.
The deceased was driving a Marino towards Wailoaloa when it is believed he lost control and his car veered into the opposite lane and collided with a taxi.
The taxi was driven by a 37 year old man of Navo, Nadi with two other passengers. The road death toll is now 53 compared to 83 for the same period last year.
