The driver of the vehicle that veered of the road in Sawani-Serea road yesterday afternoon, landing a passenger in hospital has been charged with drunk driving and dangerous driving.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita said charges have been laid, and he has been released on bail by police to appear in court at a later date.
An 18 year old boy and six other people were in the van, and were all heading to Suva when the driver lost control which tumbled three times going off the road.
The boy is still admitted in hospital.
