Former Land Force Commander, Pita Driti will appear in the Suva Magistrates court today.

He is facing two counts of uttering seditious comments and one count of inciting mutiny.

Driti is represented by Suva lawyer Filimoni Vosarogo and has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Meanwhile, the former Commander of the 3FIR Unit, Ratu Tevita Uluilakeba Mara who is now in Tonga was also bailed to appear in court today.

He faces one count of uttering seditious comments under Section 67 of the Crimes Decree and was released on $2,000 bail with no surety.

Lawyer Devinesh Sharma is representing Mara.
