More and more women are getting involved in arguments leading to assault after drinking parties.

This is the view of the Deputy Police commander Western, Senior Superintendent Sursen who said that drink and driving cases has increased particularly amongst women.

He said 10,000 have gone through the breathalyzer test from January uptil now while 210 people have been booked ending up spending their 6 hours in cell and going to court.

He said out of this number many include women who were caught driving while their husbands sat beside them. Sursen also claims that many assault cases handled by officers in the west have seen many women involved in assault cases.
