While Hindus in Fiji are preparing for Diwali, the Festival of Lights, our sister radio station Viti FM has joined in the build-up with 17 days to go, to promote multiculturalism in the country by organizing the Diwali Dress-up Competition.
Programs Director, Malakai Veisamasama said Diwali like Christmas brings all the races together and they decided to organize the Diwali Dress-up Competition to bring the two major races in the country closer.
He said the Competition was launched last Friday and people have three weeks to send in their photos to VitiFM.
Diwali will be celebrated on 5th November.
